How it works
Three parts: a small app on your PC, analysis in the cloud, and a page in your browser.
- Turn on advanced combat logging in the game. One logger in the group captures all five players.
- Install the Spindle app on Windows or macOS and sign in with Battle.net. It finds your logs folder, follows the combat log as you play, and uploads it. It can install the Spindle addon, which turns combat logging on for you in dungeons and raids.
- Open Spindle in your browser. Each pull’s results arrive a few seconds after it ends.
Why the analysis runs in the cloud
Fixes and updates for each new patch reach everyone at once, without updating the app on your PC. The app stays small: it reads the log and uploads it.
Nothing in the game
Spindle never reads game memory, never touches the running game, and never alerts you in combat. Feedback is for between pulls and after the key.
